This vintage rug was made in a small town called Eskişehir near Istanbul. It was produced in the late 1950s. The rug has a Ram's horn pattern, a symbol of harvest and profit. The central part of the kilim shows many colorful round symbols with similar meanings. The rug features additional embroidery which was applied after the rug was woven.
